This is our school and we are family. Let us promise together, that this shall be a place where we love one another as sisters and brothers. Let us promise together, that this shall be a happy, peaceful place where we can learn about the world around us.

A warm welcome to St Luke's from the Headteacher
St Luke's school has served the village since 1856, being the oldest school in Duston. However, from February 2008, we relocated to our new site. This does not stop our close relationship with Duston or St Luke's Church as we are still the Church school and a vital part of the local community.
We know that we provide an excellent start to the children's education, giving them a firm foundation in all areas of the curriculum. We have a staff of extremely committed professionals who care deeply about the well being of every child as well as having a determination for each child to reach their full learning potential.
But, we believe that our School gives much, much more. We value the partnership between school and home, and look forward to parents being involved in so many aspects of school life.
The children at St Luke's reflect the ethos of our school. They are happy, secure and well cared for - enabling them to flourish. They progress and take every opportunity given to them. They are polite, respectful and well mannered.
Our website is designed to give you an interesting, informative and enjoyable tour around our school. Along the way we will celebrate all our childrens and staffs talents and achievements. We hope you enjoy your journey around our school. As you browse around our website you will also find details of school events, visitors and activities that serve to enliven the curriculum, alongside information about our after school clubs and extra curricular activities that your children can participate in.
